Robert Showah, founder
Robert was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut to first-generation Lebanese and Syrian immigrants. At the age of two, the family moved to Williamsburg, Virginia where Robert grew up until he moved to Richmond, Virginia to attend the Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he graduated with honors in 2011. Robert then produced and co-host a weekly radio broadcast for six years featuring interviews with local Virginia political figures and discussion on current events. After a few years in sales leadership and brand marketing, Robert founded Master Theory, a platform to enhance the political media landscape by understanding power and increasing community engagement and viewpoint diversity in the press. He is currently writing about the United States Senate and the division of power within democratic systems. He is currently based in Austin, Texas.
